Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju arrived in Jeddah to sign the Bilateral Haj Agreement with Saudi Arabia and review preparations for Haj 2026.

In a social media post, Mr. Rijiju said, he is looking forward to discussions aimed at strengthening cooperation on Haj management. The Ministry of Minority Affairs has opened online applications for Haj 2026, inviting pilgrims to apply through the Haj Committee’s website and mobile app. The government has emphasized transparency, safety, and affordability in the pilgrimage process.
