Today is the third day of the Khelo India Youth Games being held in Bihar. In the football events boys’ category, Meghalaya team registered an emphatic victory over Chandigarh by 10-1 at Barauni Refinery Stadium in Begusarai. In another football match played at Yamuna Bhagat Stadium in Teghra, the Odisha team overpowered West Bengal in a close contest by 2-1.
In other matches scheduled today, qualifying teams will contest for the gold in Sepak Takraw. In swimming, medals will be on stake in the 400-meter, 100-meter, and 200-meter breaststroke and butterfly categories. The final matches in the 400-meter freestyle category will also be held today.
The shooting competitions are taking place at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi. Medals will also be decided today in the 50-meter rifle and 10-meter air pistol events.
