In Keralam, the campaigning for assembly polls has entered a high-voltage phase, with top leaders crisscrossing the state to woo voters.
Senior BJP leader Amit Shah addressed a public meeting in Kunnathunad constituency in the Ernakulam district. Mr Shah said the upcoming Keralam assembly polls are not merely for changing the government but to improve the state’s future. He noted that NDA’s vote share in the state increased since the 2014 Lok Sabha polls and its time for a government of the BJP-led front in the state. Mr Shah further said that justice for all and appeasement of none is the stand of the BJP-led NDA across the country.
Earlier in the day, Mr Shah held a huge roadshow in the Beypore assembly constituency in the Kozhikode district, where thousands of people turned up to greet the senior BJP leader. He held the roadshow from Mathottam Bijith Junction to Naduvattom as hundreds of BJP workers and supporters lined both sides of the route carrying party flags. Polling in Keralam will be held in a single-phase on Thursday.
