The deadline for the withdrawal of nomination papers for the Assembly elections in Keralam ended today.

A total of 117 candidates withdrew their nominations from the 140 Assembly constituencies in Keralam. Earlier, 2,125 nominations were filed for the 140 constituencies, of which 1,651 were accepted. Meanwhile, 357 nominations were rejected during scrutiny.

In the meantime, the Chief Electoral Officer informed that the final voters’ list for the Assembly elections has been published today.
