In Kerala, four girl students were killed in a road accident at Panayapadam in Palakkad district this evening.      

The students,  were returning from school when struck them. There was slight drizzle in the region and the truck is said to have lost control following hydroplaning, which is believed to have caused the mishap. Further investigation is on.
