In Kerala, isolated heavy rain continues in the southern parts of the state, causing waterlogging in several low-lying areas of Thiruvananthapuram.

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in 8 out of the 14 districts. All educational institutions in the Thiruvananthapuram district will remain closed today. The intensity of rain is expected to decrease in the southern districts tomorrow, while it is likely to increase in the northern parts of the state.
