A Kerala Court today rejected the bail plea of Palakkad MLA Rahul Mamkootathil in the third rape case registered against him. The Thiruvalla Judicial First Class Magistrate Court passed the order after holding an in-camera hearing. The defence argued that the case was fabricated, while the prosecution informed the court that two other rape cases are pending against the MLA.
