Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the fourth edition of Kashi Tamil Sangamam in Varanasi today. Over 1400 delegates from Tamil Nadu are participating in the event which is being held at Namo Ghat in Kashi. The first group of students and other participants arrived in Kashi from Kanyakumari this morning to attend the event themed “Tamil Karkalam” (Learn Tamil).

These participants paid homage to Baba Vishwanath and explored the temple’s historical architecture. They later participated in academic sessions at BHU. Union State Minister for Information and Broadcasting, L Murugan has also reached Varanasi to attend the inauguration ceremony. He highlighted that several new elements are being introduced in this fourth edition and expressed hope that it will further strengthen mutual bonds.
