The Kartarpur Corridor, opened for pilgrimage to Gurdwara Darbar Sahib, Kartarpur in Pakistan, has been closed. Official sources have confirmed to our Jalandhar correspondent that the corridor has been closed for today.
Further instructions are awaited. Kartarpur Corridor is a visa-free pilgrimage route connecting India and Pakistan. It allows Indian pilgrims to visit the Gurdwara where Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism, spent his last years. The corridor was established in 2019 to commemorate Guru Nanak Dev’s 550th birth anniversary.
