In a show of solidarity, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had breakfast at the residence of Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar in Bengaluru today as the tussle for the CM post continues in the state. This follows the breakfast meeting that Shivakumar had earlier at Siddaramaiah’s place. Addressing media persons after the breakfast meeting, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that Rahul Gandhi will decide on leadership change and cabinet reshuffle in the state. Saying that he and D K Shivakumar share the same ideology, he added that both will be together to fight the next Assembly election in 2028. He pointed out that during the meeting today, strategy was discussed for the Assembly session set to begin in Belagavi from December 8th. Speaking on this occasion, D K Shivakumar said that people of Karnataka have given a massive mandate to them and it is their duty to deliver benefits to the people of the state. He said if the High Command asks him to wait, he will wait and noted that both of them will follow whatever the high command says. He further said that he will not allow outsiders to interfere.
