The Kanwar Yatra, steeped in the devotion and faith of the holy month of Shravan, has reached its final stage. Millions of devotees who set out from Haridwar carrying Gangajal are now heading towards Shiva temples across the country for the sacred ritual of Jalabhishek. In several places, the holy offering of water has already begun.  

Akashvani correspondent reports that since the beginning of the Kanwar Mela in Haridwar, over 45 million Shiva devotees have collected Gangajal and set out on their spiritual journey. The presence of Dak Kanwariyas has transformed the atmosphere in Haridwar into one filled with devotion, echoing with chants of “Bam Bam Bhole” and “Jai Shiv Shankar.” Devotees have expressed satisfaction with the facilities provided by the administration.
