In Jammu & Kashmir, two terrorists have been killed in an encounter with security forces at Akhal Devsar area of Kulgam district. Police sources said the joint operation was launched by the Army, J&K Police and CRPF based on specific information about the presence of terrorists in the area. A senior police official said the contact was established last evening, and one terrorist was neutralised late last night. The official said that due to darkness, the ongoing operation was temporarily suspended and resumed this morning. During the ensuing gunfight, one more terrorist was killed today. The search operation is underway in the area.
