In Jammu and Kashmir, the district BJP Unit Poonch, in collaboration with some organisations and civil society, is going to organise a Tiranga Rally in Poonch tomorrow, aimed at promoting national unity and pride. Our Correspondent reports that the Tiranga Yatra is designed to instil a sense of national pride and unity, with a special focus on recognising the valour of the Indian Army. The objective of the Tiranga Yatra is to pay tribute to the valour of the armed forces and to showcase national unity.
The rally will start from Poonch Fort and will conclude at Nakha Wali Chowk, near the Pritam Singh statue. The Party workers and locals are expected to participate in large numbers, carrying the national flag and showcasing their patriotism. The rally aims to foster a sense of unity and solidarity among the people of Poonch. Many prominent BJP leaders will address the gathering before the rally. However, the District Gurudwara Prabandakh Committee (DGPC) Poonch is demanding the postponement of the Trianga yatra. Addressing a presser, the DGPC demands postponing the victory rally of the BJP scheduled to be organised tomorrow be postponed. Narinder Singh, President DGPC, said it’s not the right time for organising this rally, as the people of Poonch are mourning the death of civilians.
