In Jammu and Kashmir, the Police is set to organise Run for Unity-Jammu Marathon 2025 tomorrow at Gulshan Ground, Jammu, to promote national unity, healthy living and community engagement. This mega sporting event aims to promote unity, fitness and public participation. As many as ten categories have been created to ensure wide participation, including men, women, juniors, veterans, sub-juniors and senior citizens.

The event carries total prize money of 4.70 lakh rupees, with top prizes of 50,000 rupees, 30,000 rupees and 20,000 rupees in key categories. The major events include the 21.0975 kilometres Half Marathon for Men, 10 kilometres run for men and women above the age of 18 years, junior and veteran categories, sub-junior runs, and a special two kilometres run for senior citizens, women, children and the general public.
