In Jammu and Kashmir, different parts of Jammu are witnessing continuous heavy rainfall, leading to waterlogging, traffic snarls, and difficulties for daily commuters.
The MeT Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall at many places over plains of Jammu, Pir Panjal, Chenab Valley including Doda, Jammu, Kathua, Kishtwar, Poonch, Rajouri, Ramban, Reasi, Samba, Udhampur, Anantnag, and Kulgam in the next 24 hours.
Authorities have warned of possible cloudbursts, flash floods, and landslides, especially in the Jammu division. Residents have been advised to stay alert and take necessary precautions to ensure safety.
An alert has been issued for the next 24 hours for two Kashmir districts of Anantnag and Kulgam, and all ten districts of the Jammu region.
