J&K LG Manoj Sinha greets women on the occasion of the International Women’s Day

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has greeted the women of J&K on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

In his message, LG said, this occasion will inspire them to step forward as vital partners in country’s development journey. He said women’s empowerment stands as the strongest catalyst for development and poverty eradication.

The LG said, today, our women tirelessly work to reshape society into a fairer, more equitable order.

Mr Sinha said countless talented women from the Union Territory are excelling in their fields, each poised to help build a peaceful and prosperous Jammu & Kashmir.

He said, International Women’s Day offers us a vital moment to reaffirm our dedication to upholding women’s rights, ensuring justice, safeguarding their security, and advancing their well-being.

Meanwhile, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio honoured the contributions of women everywhere on the occasion of International Women’s Day today.

In a post on X, he said that women play a vital role in strengthening communities, inspiring progress, and shaping ideas.

Mr Rio called upon everyone to continue working towards a world where opportunity is not limited by gender but defined by potential.
