In Jammu and Kashmir, the Kishtwar District Administration is set to launch a Panchayat-level Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaign to combat drug abuse at the grassroots level.

The initiative will see active participation from the Deputy Commissioner of Kishtwar, highlighting the administration’s commitment to eradicating drug abuse in the district.

The campaign will begin tomorrow across all blocks of the district and will be replicated in Panchayats every Monday.

All concerned departments have been instructed to collaborate at the Panchayat level, engage local influencers, religious leaders, and youth organizations in awareness drives, and leverage digital platforms for broader outreach.
