J&K CM Thanks Haryana Govt for ₹5 Crore Flood Relief Contribution

Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has thanked the Haryana Government and Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini for their generous contribution of 5 crore rupees to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for relief and rehabilitation measures in the flood-hit regions. Mr. Abdullah said that this financial support will aid the ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts. He further said that the solidarity shown by the Haryana Government reflects a strong sense of unity and compassion. 
 
 
Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini yesterday announced financial assistance of five crore rupees each to Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to support ongoing relief and rehabilitation measures in the flood-hit regions. 
 
 
Meanwhile,  the Leader of Opposition in the J&K Assembly, Sunil Sharma, announced that all 28 BJP MLAs have contributed 1 crore rupees each, amounting to 28 crore rupees for relief efforts. Additionally, BJP MPs have also pledged 2.5 crore rupees each, taking the total to 35.5 crore. He also shared that a request has been made to allow the farmers to sell the accumulated aggregates on their fields on their own. He added that all the Union Ministers of departments related to flood-affected fields will visit and organise meetings with the J&K government.
