In Jammu and Kashmir, the Legislative Assembly’s Rules Committee today gave its go-ahead to carry out necessary modifications in the existing Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the House. Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that the meeting of the committee was held today under the chairmanship of the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Abdul Rahim Rather, in the Legislative Assembly complex, Jammu.

There was consensus among committee members that slight modifications should be carried out in the rules for the smooth functioning of the Assembly.
