In Jharkhand’s forest area of West Singhbhum district, two villagers were seriously injured in an IED blast allegedly planted by Maoists. The explosion occurred last night near Tirildposi village under Jaraikela police station limits when the victims were going to collect firewood and forest produce. Police have launched a search operation in the area, while SP Amit Renu confirmed the incident and said efforts are underway to ensure treatment of the injured and secure the site.
