Jharkhand air ambulance crash: Second engine recovered after 21 days

In Jharkhand, the second engine of the air ambulance that crashed on February 23 has been recovered after 21 days from the Pathar Pania forest in Kasyatu Karamtand under the Simaria police station area of Chatra. The engine was spotted by women who had gone to collect ‘mahua’ in the forest, following which the local police reached the spot and took it into custody. It is reported that the engine was found about one kilometre away from the accident site, and parts of the aircraft had been missing since the crash. Police officials said the recovered engine has been secured for investigation and is expected to help determine the cause of the accident.
