Japanese Firm TDK Corporation to Invest ₹4,000 Crore in Haryana for Battery Energy Storage Unit

Haryana has emerged as a preferred destination for foreign investors. At the Bharat Electricity Summit 2026, a Japanese company has shown interest in investing around 4 thousand crore rupees in Haryana. During the summit, a delegation of Japanese company TDK Corporation met Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini along with Union Minister for Power, Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal.
 
During the meeting, the delegation expressed its intent to invest approximately 4 thousand crore rupees in Haryana to establish a new plant. The company plans to set up a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) unit in the state. It is noteworthy that TDK Corporation already has an established facility spread over 180 acres in Sohna, Haryana.
