The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, in collaboration with Jammu & Kashmir Govt, is organizing a day-long National Governance Conference today in Jammu. Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that Union Minister of State Jitendra Singh and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah will jointly inaugurate the event. The conference will showcase Prime Minister’s Award-winning initiatives for 2023 and 2024 and innovative district governance models from across the country.

A special session will highlight J&K’s best practices, including governance innovations from Kulgam, e-Suvidha initiative of Ramban, and RFID-enabled Yatra management by the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. Over 200 delegates are expected to attend.
