In Jammu and Kashmir, four persons were killed and two are missing after their vehicle skidded off the road, rolled down a hill, and fell into a river in the Gwar Massu area of Padder tehsil in Kishtwar district. The district administration has started a rescue operation that was going on till the last reports came in.

Union Minister and local MP Dr Jitendra Singh has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic accident. He wrote on his X handle that he was in touch with the Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar and was receiving updates about the incident. More details are awaited.
