In Jammu and Kashmir, Meteorological Department has said that the Union Territory will see a mix of hot and humid weather with spells of rain over the coming days, warning of intense showers and flash flood risks in parts of the Jammu division. The weather department said that the region will experience intermittent light to moderate rain from today to July 30, with intense showers and heavy rain at a few places of the Jammu division, mainly during late night and early morning hours.
For August 1 to 3, generally hot and humid weather with scattered rain activity is expected. The Met department has warned of intense showers, gusty winds, heavy rain, and a flash flood risk at vulnerable places between July 28-30, along with the possibility of landslides, mudslides, and shooting stones. Farmers have been advised to resume farm operations.
