The stage is set to host Yoga Sessions at the various locations across the country tomorrow to celebrate the International Day of Yoga. Archaeological Survey of India, in collaboration with the Ministry of Ayush will host Yoga sessions underscoring the importance of holistic health and environmental consciousness deeply rooted in yogic philosophy.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead the national celebration of the 11th International Day of Yoga, from Visakhapatnam. He will participate in the Common Yoga Protocol session at the beachfront of Visakhapatnam, with over three lakh participants at the Visakhapatnam venue, synchronised with over 10 lakh locations across the country under the ‘Yoga Sangam’ initiative. Several Union Ministers along with other key dignitaries will also attend the celebrations at various locations across the country. Aligned with this year’s theme of ‘Yoga for One Earth, One Health’, this grand yoga festival aims to promote the timeless connection between India’s cultural heritage and ancient wellness practices.

Thousands of participants will come together to practice Yoga at iconic historical sites including Purana Qila in Delhi, Gol Gumbaz in Karnataka, Konark Sun Temple in Odisha, Chittorgarh Fort in Rajasthan, Elephanta Caves in Maharashtra.

As part of the celebrations, entry to all Archaeological Survey of India monuments will be free of cost for the public.
