Italian Ambassador to India Antonio Bartoli today said Italy and India have similar priorities regarding the West Asian conflict, emphasising de-escalation, diplomatic dialogue, and efforts to end the conflict quickly. Talking to the media in New Delhi, Mr Bartoli also noted that Italy is working to assist its nationals abroad, including around 1,500 tourists who were stranded in the Maldives.
