ISRO Moves LVM3 Rocket to Launch Pad for November 2 CMS-03 Mission

The Indian Space Research Organisation, ISRO has moved the LVM3 launch vehicle to the launch pad at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. The Launch vehicle is fully assembled and integrated with the CMS 03 communication satellite to be launched on November 2nd.
 
 
The fifth operational flight of Mark 3 launch vehicle will place India’s heaviest communication satellite weighing 4400 kgs into a Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit.
 
 
CMS-03 multi-band communication satellite will enhance communication services over a wide oceanic region around the Indian landmass and expand digital access to remote territories. ISRO’s Mark 3 launch vehicle was successfully used earlier to launch Chandrayaan 3 satellite.
