India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast isolated extremely heavy rainfall over Uttarakhand and very heavy rainfall over Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Madhya Maharashtra and South Interior Karnataka for today. IMD has also forecast fairly widespread to widespread rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning over Northwest and Central India during the next five days. It added that isolated heavy rainfall is expected over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and  Bihar till Wednesday while in Odisha, Assam and Meghalaya till tomorrow and in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura till Thursday.

 

 
In Delhi, IMD has forecast a generally cloudy sky with light rain for today.
