IOA Announces Cash Rewards for Medal Winners of 3rd Asian Youth Games

The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has announced cash rewards for athletes and coaches for their exceptional performance at the 3rd Asian Youth Games held in Manama, Bahrain where the nation’s young athletes secured a commendable total of 48 medals across various sporting disciplines. 
In acknowledgment of these commendable accomplishments, the IOA announced cash rewards. Gold medallists will receive 5 lakh rupees each, silver medallists will be awarded 3 lakh and bronze medallists 2 lakh rupees. Fourth-place finishers will get 50 thousand rupees each, and coaches of medal-winning athletes will be honoured with 1 lakh rupees each. In addition, both the boys and girls kabaddi teams will receive 10 lakh rupees each in recognition of their outstanding performances.
P.T Usha, President of the IOA, said, the IOA takes immense pride in young athletes achievements. India delivered its best-ever performance at the 2025 Asian Youth Games, winning 13 gold, 18 silver, and 17 bronze, surpassing previous tallies from 2009 and 2013.
