Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has said Industrial growth in the state is gaining momentum through foreign investment. He said that investment agreements signed at Davos last year have created employment opportunities for 75 thousand people across five districts of North Maharashtra. Of the total investment of 50 thousand crore rupees, 11,519 crore rupees is being invested in Ahilyanagar district alone.
He was speaking at a programme of an aluminium casting company in Ahilyanagar district with Industries Minister Uday Samant, Guardian Minister of the district.
The Chief Minister said nearly 75 percent of the MoUs signed are being converted into actual projects. He added that the state is giving priority to environmentally friendly industries.
