The death toll from the collapse of a school building in Indonesia has climbed to 53. Search operations for trapped victims are still underway.
A joint rescue team recovered eight bodies yesterday evening from under the rubble of the Al Khoziny Islamic boarding school compound in Sidoarjo Regency. The building collapsed on 29th September, when hundreds of students were reportedly performing prayers inside.
