India’s Solar Installed Capacity has crossed over 130 Gigawatt in  November this year. The New and Renewable Energy Ministry said that this year Solar energy capacity has raised up to 41 per cent as compared to last year, which was at over 94 GW.

The Ministry informed that a cumulative capacity of over three thousand megawatts of solar projects has been commissioned in various Solar Parks during this year under the Scheme for Development of Solar Parks and Ultra-Mega Solar Power Projects.

Similarly, under Commissioning of Solar Power Projects, government entities commissioned around three gigawatts of solar power projects.
