Science and Technology Minister Dr Jitendra Singh said that Indians are playing a leading role in driving global advancements in science and technology. He was delivering the P. Parameswaran Memorial Lecture in Thiruvananthapuram today. Dr Singh emphasised that today’s India is marked by growing self-confidence among its youth and rapid technological progress. He said that India now has more than two lakh startups, making it the third-largest startup ecosystem in the world.
