The Indian Posts and Telecommunications Accounts and Finance Service has celebrated its 51st Foundation Day as Sanchar Lekha Diwas in New Delhi today.

 

Addressing the event, Controller General of Communication Accounts Ms Vandana Gupta said that over the past five decades, the services have functioned as the financial conscience and the institutional stabilisers of telecommunications and the Postal service. 

 

On this occasion, a Communication Finance Summit was organised, which was envisioned as a high-level collaborative platform for the Department of Telecommunications and the Department of Posts.

 

Senior officials from the CGA, Railway Board, and various departments of the Government of India were also present at the event.
