A multi-party delegation headed by JD(U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha today interacted with leading Japanese think tanks in Tokyo and briefed them on India’s zero tolerance against terrorism.
The delegation which arrived in Tokyo in the first leg of their five-nation tour, discussed regional security challenges including state-backed terrorism. During the interactive session, participants expressed strong support for India’s fight against the menace.
Earlier, in a social media post, Mr Jha said that India’s measured response in Operation Sindoor showed New Delhi’s zero-tolerance approach and Japan and India stand united for peace and democratic values.
Another delegation led by Shrikanth Shinde of Shiv Sena also reached UAE in the first phase of their four-nation tour under India’s aggressive global campaign against terrorism and to apprise the International community about Operation Sindoor.
Meanwhile, the third multi-party delegation led by DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi has left for a five nation visit to further expose Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. The delegation will visit Spain, Greece, Slovenia, Latvia, and Russia.
Ahead of the departure, Kanimozhi Karunanidhi said the move is intended to explain to the world that lives have been lost in India due to terrorism and none of the nations in the world believes in keeping quiet in front of this menace. She added that everyone has to come together to fight against it to reach out to the world.
The remaining four delegations out of seven will also be leaving in the upcoming days for different countries. These four delegations are scheduled to be briefed by the External Affairs Ministry today. The delegations are visiting 32 countries in a fortnight to present India’s firm stand against Pak-sponsored terrorism and isolate Islamabad globally for propagating terror from its soil.
