Indian Institute of Mass Communication Holds 57th Convocation in New Delhi Today

The 57th Convocation Ceremony of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) will be held in New Delhi today. The ceremony will be attended by the Vice President, C. P. Radhakrishnan. Chancellor of IIMC, Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Ashwini Vaishnaw, will preside over the function. During the convocation, diplomas will be awarded to graduating students.

The Ministry informed that a total of 35 medals, including 23 carrying cash prizes, will be presented to toppers from various courses across all six campuses of the institute. On the occasion, the Vice President will lay the foundation stone for the new Academic Block and Hostel Block at IIMC New Delhi. Furthermore, Mr Vaishnaw will also inaugurate the Creators Lounge at the Incubation Centre in the presence of senior officials of the Ministry and the Institute. The event marks a significant milestone in the continued expansion and strengthening of infrastructure and academic excellence at IIMC.
