Indian diaspora abroad continues to show solidarity with victims of Pahalgam terror attack

Indian communities across the globe continue to hold peaceful rallies and prayer meetings to express solidarity with the victims of the heinous Pahalgam terrorist attack. These global demonstrations reflect a unified condemnation of the violence and a shared call for peace and justice in the face of terror. In the United States, the Indian Community of Georgia organized a protest rally in Atlanta, joined by U.S. Congressman Rich McCormick, who denounced terrorism and called for international solidarity in combating extremist violence. In Chicago, the National India Hub in Schaumburg, alongside numerous Indian associations, hosted a gathering where Indian Consul General Somnath Ghosh delivered a message of unity, remembrance, and resolve. New York witnessed a solemn prayer meeting at St. Mary’s Orthodox Church in Jackson Heights, attended by community members paying tribute to the victims. Similar scenes unfolded across other parts of the world. In Spain, members of the Indian diaspora assembled at Plaza de Callao in Madrid, holding a peaceful protest. In Canada, mourners gathered outside the Consulate General of India in Toronto, to pay their respects. In Sweden, Indian expatriates observed a moment of silence to honor the victims and stand in solidarity with India’s fight against terrorism.
