Indian Aviation Industry has hailed the Government’s decision to moderate the Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) price increase for domestic operations. In a social media post, Air India called the move a thoughtful and timely step that brings relief to the aviation sector in unprecedented times. 

 

Meanwhile, IndiGo Airlines said that the step marks a meaningful way forward, enabling greater stability for airlines. The flight operator added that the move also allows the Airlines to pass on the benefits through more accessible and affordable travel for the customers. 

 

Furthermore, Akasa Airlines said that such measures help create a stable operating environment for airlines, enabling them to manage costs more effectively, thereby making travel more affordable.
