A delegation from the Ministry of Justice of the United Kingdom held a meeting with the Secretary of Legislative Department under Law and Justice Ministry in Delhi today.

 

Both sides engaged in a comprehensive discussion during the meeting on enhancing bilateral cooperation in the field of law and justice. Law Ministry said that the discussions covered legislative drafting, ease of living initiatives, repealing of obsolete laws, tribunal system, gender justice and training programmes for officers of both countries in the area of legislative drafting.

 

Both sides also discussed the operational aspects of the agreement between the two countries.
