The Department of Defence Production (DDP) will showcase India’s indigenous defence capabilities at the upcoming 44th India International Trade Fair in New Delhi from tomorrow.
The Ministry of Defence informed that the pavilion will highlight the significant transformation achieved under the self-reliant India initiative, showcasing the growing strength and innovation of the defence manufacturing ecosystem.
It added that state-of-the-art products, cutting-edge technologies, and innovations across domains such as land systems, naval platforms, aerospace and emerging technologies will also be displayed in the pavilion.
The 16 Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs), along with defence start-ups, will participate in the pavilion. The India International Trade Fair will culminate on the 27th of this month.
The trade fair is organised by the India Trade Promotion Organisation at Bharat Mandapam with the theme Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat. The fair will seek participation from Bihar, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, with Jharkhand as a focus state.
