India will present a diverse agri-food ecosystem through 161 Exhibitors at Gulfood 2026, which is scheduled from the 26th of this month in Dubai. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry said that India’s participation in this food show will reinforce the country’s growing stature in the global agri-food trade.
It added that India is partnering at the event for the first time, which underscores the nation’s strategic importance as a reliable sourcing destination and a key contributor to global food security and resilient supply chains. Exhibitors from 25 Indian states, including Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala and West Bengal, will participate in the program.
A key highlight of India’s participation will be the BHARATI Pavilion, the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority’s flagship initiative to promote export-ready agri-food and tech startups. The BHARATI Pavilion will feature eight high-potential Indian startups, selected through a national-level process from over a hundred applicants.
