India to Offer 24–48 Hour Speed Post Services, Says Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia

Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia today announced that Speed Post services would soon be delivered within 24 to 48 hours. He was addressing a gathering of rural postal workers at the Western Zonal Gramin Dak Sevak Sammelan at Ekta Nagar in Gujarat today. The Minister called postal workers the true symbol of unity in the modern era. 
The Minister emphasised the importance of transforming the Postal Department into a robust logistics organisation and a coordination centre of governance. He called upon the workers, from five western states including Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan, to actively participate in realizing the Prime Minister’s vision of Developed India 2047.
During the event, Mr Scindia honoured several rural postal workers for their excellent contributions to opening new accounts and ensuring the timely delivery of postal articles.
