Second seed India will take on defending champions Egypt in the semifinals of Squash World Cup in Chennai today. Top seeds Hong Kong will face Japan in the other semifinal.

India stormed into the last four with a commanding 3-Nil victory over seventh seeds South Africa while Egypt eased past Australia 3-Nil in the quarterfinals yesterday.

This is the second consecutive time India have qualified for the semi-finals of the Squash World Cup, having also made it to the last four in the 2023 edition of the tournament.

Earlier in the tournament, India had defeated Switzerland and Brazil to progress to the quarter-finals.
