India and Tanzania discussed cooperation in military training, maritime security, and defence industry collaboration during the fourth edition of the Joint Defence Cooperation Committee meeting. The two-day meeting, held in Zanzibar, was co-chaired by Joint Secretary (International Cooperation) Amitabh Prasad. During the meeting, both sides also explored new areas such as counter-terrorism, peacekeeping training, and training in niche areas including electronic warfare (EW), cyber, and artificial intelligence (AI) to further expand bilateral defence cooperation.
