India take on New Zealand in second T20I at Raipur

In Cricket, India will face New Zealand in the second match of the five-match T20 International series at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur today. The match will start at 7:00 PM. Led by captain Suryakumar Yadav, India currently leads the series 1-NIL, after a strong 48-run win in the opening match. Abhishek Sharma slammed a quickfire 8,4 and Rinku Singh made a blistering 44 off just 20 balls, while Varun Chakravarthy and Shivam Dube took two wickets each as New Zealand were restricted to 190 in the 239-run chase.
 
Since their 2024 T20 World Cup triumph, Suryakumar Yadav’s team has not lost a T20 International series, and they will aim to maintain that unbeaten run as they build momentum ahead of the next T20 World Cup.
