India and Sweden have strengthened their Artificial Intelligence (AI) partnership. On the sidelines of India AI Impact Summit 2026, the India AI Mission and Business Sweden signed a Statement of Intent (SoI) to enhance cooperation in AI and digital technologies. Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology today said that the SoI provides a structured framework for collaboration on the development, application and deployment of artificial intelligence solutions. It added that both countries will jointly develop a dedicated programme titled the Sweden-India Technology and Artificial Intelligence Corridor (SITAC), which will serve as a platform to facilitate structured engagement among government agencies, industry stakeholders, startups and academic institutions from both countries.
