The External Affairs Ministry has said that India stands for peace in West Asia and the resolution of issues through dialogue and diplomacy. Attending the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit in Egypt yesterday, Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh said, the country supports the Gaza peace plan and appreciates Egypt and Qatar for their valuable roles in achieving this and advancing towards the path to peace.
The Ministry said, India will support all efforts towards a lasting peace in the region. The summit was co-hosted by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and US President Donald Trump and was joined by several world leaders.
