Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu has said that India has been re-elected to the International Civil Aviation Organisation – ICAO Council with one of the highest mandates. In a social media post, the Minister said that Indian aviation has earned significant global recognition under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Ram Mohan Naidu informed that he undertook a review of India’s support to ICAO’s ‘No Country Left Behind initiative’ yesterday. He said that India has emerged as a key partner, extending assistance to developing countries and promoting the harmonisation of ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices.
