Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said, diversity in India is a strong base of its culture, and for Indians, every day brings in new colours, every season becomes a new festival, every tradition comes with a new idea. The Prime Minister was addressing the Indian community and students in Muscat in a programme called Maitri Parv on the second day of his visit to Oman today.
The programme ‘Maitri Parv’ celebrates the completion of 50 years of the Indian schooling system in Oman. The Prime Minister elaborated Maitri Parv as Maritime heritage, Aspirations, Innovation, Trust and Technology, Respect and Inclusive Growth. He said, the Maitri Parv is the celebration of the friendship between the two countries, their shared history and a prosperous future.
Earlier this morning, the Prime Minister addressed the India-Oman Business Summit in Muscat, attended by business leaders from both countries. He said the summit will give new direction and momentum to bilateral ties between the two countries.
The Prime Minister said that business leaders are the inheritors of a historic maritime legacy linking Mandvi and Muscat across the Arabian Sea. The Prime Minister said this while addressing the India-Oman Business Summit in Muscat today. He said, seasons may change, but the friendship between India and Oman continues to grow stronger with time. Highlighting 70 years of diplomatic relations, the Prime Minister said the partnership is built on trust and friendship, and now looks ahead to a prosperous future rooted in shared heritage.
